FAQ

The Application Crashes After Installation

If this is not the first installation, delete the previously generated IKconfig directory and restart the application. If the crash continues, record the PICO system version, APK version, and reproduction steps.

Is Calibration Required After Every Power-on?

Yes. Perform zero-bias calibration after every glove power-on, before connection and motion calibration.

When Is Six-face Calibration Required?

Perform it only when the application gives a voice prompt. Keep each pose stable and wait for the voice or UI to advance before moving to the next face. If no prompt is issued, do not run six-face calibration proactively.

The Application Cannot Connect to the Glove

Check in this order:

  1. Confirm the glove is powered on and that charge/power is stable.
  2. Confirm the selected hand side matches the actual delivered device.
  3. Return to the connection page, refresh the device list, and select the glove again.
  4. If the issue starts after installation or upgrade, record versions first, then restart the application and the glove.
  5. If connection still fails, continue with Firmware upgrade to verify version matching and preserve logs.

Motion Calibration Does Not Complete

  1. Confirm the glove is fitted correctly and that the finger modules, wrist strap, and index-finger joystick have not shifted.
  2. Rerun zero-bias calibration. Do not retry motion calibration before zero-bias is complete.
  3. Follow the four-pose sequence fully and hold each pose until progress advances.
  4. If only one hand fails, verify that hand's connection state, hand side, and firmware version.
  5. If failures continue, preserve logs, versions, and symptoms before escalating.

The Upgrade Failed

Do not repeatedly restart the upgrade or force a power-off. Record the error and device versions, then follow Firmware upgrade.

No UDP Data Is Received

  1. Confirm the application has completed connection and calibration, and that the receiver is listening on port 15000.
  2. In dual-hand mode, confirm both left and right hands are online instead of assuming both are active.
  3. Check target IP, port, network isolation, and local firewall settings.
  4. If output is still missing, record the current version, port, and connection state, then return to Data formats for the integration checklist.
