Product Overview

Forsense's wireless inertial motion-capture glove is a professional hand-data-capture device for robot teleoperation, VR interaction, and digital-human animation.

Product Advantages

Accurate and Stable Over Time

The 1 + 8 IMU + wrist IMU sensing architecture works with 6DOF sensors and a human-model-assisted algorithm to capture gestures, joint changes, and hand pose stably in magnetically disturbed environments. The product specification states no obvious drift during 40 minutes of continuous use.

Close-fitting Half-finger Design

The half-finger structure and skin-friendly fabric fit closely against the hand to balance comfort, sensor stability, and motion-data fidelity.

Full-body Motion Integration

The glove can work with Forsense motion-capture suits for synchronized body-and-hand acquisition. PICO devices, Trackers, and Forsense IK can also form an integrated motion-capture system covering the head, torso, limbs, and detailed finger motion for digital humans, film animation, robot teleoperation, and VR interaction.

Operation and Maintenance

  • After power-on, leave the gloves still for 10 seconds for zero-bias calibration, then perform the four-action calibration.
  • Data formats documents UDP ports and state fields.
  • Remove all electronic components before washing; follow Cleaning and disassembly.
  • Read Firmware upgrade before changing firmware.
